ways to share files in public network

Hi,

I have 4 computers(mixed with win and linux) coloated at my ISP. I want to
have the file sharing available among them.
Have used samba before, i like the way net neibghbour being used among
windows and linux.
Now can someone give me suggestion or recommendtion?  links and pointers are
appreciated.

.... you already have the answer: SAMBA.  or are you talking about
remote administration?

all the computers are connected to internet directly. Is it really saft if i
sharing files among the computers using samba ?
i am afraid there will be a need of tunneling kind of thing. but i am not
familiar with .

so i am looking for other solutions ( easier and securer , if exist.)

I think you could still use samba.  In your smb.conf file just have
something like this in the global options:

hosts allow = 127.0.0.0/8 your ip addresses
hosts deny = 0.0.0.0/0
