Anyone suggest how I can turn off 'talk' inside a zsh login? I
get a lot of folks trying to 'talk' to me while online and I just wanna
turn it off for my interactive logins.

No matter what shell you are running. Put
mesg n
to some of your startup files (like .zlogin)
