There is a 4mm-DAT 2GB tape drive (/dev/nrst8) on my
sparc10/sunos4.1.3, which is next to a sparc/solaris2.5.
Is there any way so that I could record my files of
solaris2.5 remotely to the tape drive on sunos4.1.3 ?

Sounds like mountd may not be running on 4.1.3
