Mounting DOS HD Part?

Mounting DOS HD Part?

Has anyone successfully mounted a DOS partition from Solaris X86 2.1?
Here is my setup:
Adaptec 1540B
        ID 0 -> 340 MB  - 200 MD DOS
                          140 SOL

        ID 1 -> 200 MB       - DOS
        ID 2 -> 200 MB       - DOS
        ID 3 -> 200 MB       - SOL
        ID 4 -> 200 MB       - SOL

I would like to be able to mount the 200 MB DOS part. on the ID 0 device and/or
the ID 1 device. Is this possible? Any ideas other than RTFM.

Well, sure it's possible.  You say "other than RTFM", but reading the
pcfs(7) manpage should make everything clear to you; if it doesn't,
please ask again.

1. 1280 MB HD -- cannot recognize dos part.

I am running an older kernel version of linux and am having troubles
convincing my kernel to recognise my dos partition on my ner 1280 MB
drive
.  I am running with AMI bios (c) 1992, which appears to support a drive
this large.  When I look at the drive using Linux's fdisk, it reports
the correct settings for the drive.  I have even been able to mount this
drive before, but cannot do it consistently.  The last time I managed to
mount the partition was when I was running a more recent kernel.  I am
wondering if this is the problem or if I am overlooking something.
