OPENSTEP: TLI or BSD Sockets

Does anyone know which networking scheme OPENSTEP for Solaris uses? TLI or BSD Sockets?

Thanks for any info,

George

1. BSD Socket vs. SV TLI

Both the BSD Unix and System V provide the transport layer
programming interfaces, sockets and TLI respectively.

What are the major differences between these two facilities?
Which one is more favourable than the other in what situations?
Any comparative performance figures on the identical hardware
platform?

Any comments are welcome.

Thanks in advance.
