I am using the Solstice Enterprise agent Release 1.0
I have created my subagent and am registering it dynamically with my
master agent.
My master agent receives a Get request from my SNMP Manager and
identifies the subtree correctly as my subagent which it needs to send
the request to.
Using the debug level 4, I cna see it trying to send the PDU to my
subagent at the port(14776) I have specified in the agent registration
file. On the subagent debug console, it prints a message saying
"Waiting for Incoming SNMP Requests on port 14776". This is the same
port the master agent is sending messages to. However no messages are
recieved by my sub agent.
I also made a simple UDP client send a message to the subagent at the
same port. Nothing is being received by this sub agent.Could someone
please help me out.
I would really appreciate any information.
