Chess for Solaris

Post by Barry O'Sulliv » Thu, 20 Jun 1996 04:00:00

Hello,

I am an avid chess player. I have not been able to find a good chess
program suitable for Solaris - to my disappointment. Does anyone
know of one? It would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
        Barry.

1. Chess on RS/6000

I'm looking for a chess game for our RS/6000, preferably one that runs
under X. Archie located GNUchess and Xchess, but I gave up on both
after several compiler errors. Has anyone else been able to compile
either under AIX? Suggestions or alternatives would be welcome.
