I wanted to know if anyone could direct me to a site for a good 3270
emulator (prefferably x3270).

x3270 News, 14. April 1996

x3270 v3.1.0.7 has been released.  This is a bugfix revision to x3270
v3.1.0.6:

Fixed the "7" and "1" keys on the Sun type 5 keyboard keypad with NumLock
  on.

Explicitly specify bitmapped fonts, to run better on servers with ugly
  proportional fonts.

Fixed problems with the definition of the 'intersect' line-drawing
character, GE X'D3'. Fixes bug #349. (reported by Jim McMaster)

Fixed the name of the apl_equalunderbar symbol, and make sure that all APL
symbols have keysym names and are available through the apl keymap or
compose map. (reported by Dennis Monaco)

The full release is available via anonymous ftp on the Internet:

I believe it's distributed from
ftp://ftp.x.org/contrib/applications/x3270 .   I may be off on the exact
path name but the host is correct.
