Hi,

Is there any knowledge or documentation on Solaris 10 taking advantage
of AMD's x86-64 or Intel's x86-64 renamed IA-32e?

Regards,
Gilbert

Since they're essentially the same (Intel doesn't support the
"X" bit on page tables but AMD does and some other minor stuff),
any 'AMD x86-64' work should "just work" on Intel's stuff.

Statements on Sun products included here are not gospel and may
be fiction rather than truth.

Yes but will Solaris 10 take advantage of the extra instructions?
