I just backoutpatch'd the 103566-27 Xsun Patch, because it locked
mouse-input in some apps, namely ghostview and xpostit.
Right after I patched with 103566-27, I could no longer select any
pull-down menu on ghostview, as well as on xpostit. I went back to
103566-25, and everything became normal.
Anybody experinced same/similar problems?

1. OpenWindows 3.5.1: Xsun patch [103566-27] breaks ssh
Perhaps that's because you linked with your own (X11R6?) libraries
instead of the (patched) ones in /usr/openwin/lib? Or perhaps you
linked statically? If `ldd ssh-askpass' doesn't mention
/usr/openwin/lib/libX11.so.4, then that probably explains your
problem.
If my theory is right, all you should have to do is rebuild ssh to use
/usr/openwin/lib/libX11.so dynamically; then they should work on both
unpatched and patched versions of Solaris.
...except that you've reopened the security hole....
The patch doesn't depend on security through obscurity;
it relies on the fact that /var/X is protected differently from /tmp.
