Post by Michael D. Mazzo » Thu, 18 Jul 1996 04:00:00

Hi all,

I can't seem to get textedit to come up in readonly mode under 2.5.
Does anyone have a solution.

Thanks,
Mike

1. Solaris 2.5 telnet binary mode problems

I finally installed Solaris 2.5 and was hoping that binary mode
works right for transferring files via Z modem, but when I get the login
prompt and enter my login name and hit the enter key it doesn't work the
trick is to press control+k in order enter in your login and passwd once
logged in everything seems fine and rz and sz work.  Does anyone have a
solution to this besides remapping the enter key to control+k.
