applications for BETA testers.
Beta Testing is about to commence on a High Availability UNIX Backup
Server
solution utilizing both proprietary hardware and software. When a failure
is
detected, the primary server's sub-system is switched to the backup
server,
bringing the system back on-line. This sequence is fully automated and
easy
to install and setup. ApCon is looking for serious UNIX Resellers,
Developers, or End Users that would be willing to evalute this new
concept.
Testers should have access to the following list of equipment:
1. Two or more UNIX based Servers and/or Workstations with external
SCSI capability.
2. SCSI External Storage Device
3. Operating System: Sun OS 4.1x or Solaris 2.x
