Our Solaris 2.3 recently have several panics with this error:

Feb 25 12:56:58 explorer unix: panic: hme_remove - hme not on list
Feb 25 12:56:58 explorer unix: syncing file systems...panic: panic sync
timeout
Feb 25 12:56:58 explorer unix:  9055 static and sysmap kernel pages
Feb 25 12:56:58 explorer unix:  SunOS Release 5.3 Version
Generic_101318-42 [UNI

What is hme_remove?

1. Listing files not in argument list

Can anyone tell me how I can list files in a directory that are not
in my argument list.

Let's say th ecommand to do this is sl.  Then if I type:

% sl *e*

My output would be all the files that do not contain the letter e.
Is this possible in UNIX?

Thanks in advance.
