1st * problem with Solaris 7: Don't play with "nisauthconf" and
configure any higher credential encryption than DES-192bit or the
automounter will fail after some time (Bug-ID #4243162).
And that the only one - AFAIK. NIS+ works very stable - if you have a
Solaris 7-only network.

I have just one piece of advice: DON'T!
For a year I fought with NIS+;
Read all the books;
Took the Sun classes.

I use NIS now.

Best advise I've seen on this group! I will never use NIS+ again! NIS is the
only way to go.
