Isn't this the same as:
# reboot -- -r

or

ok boot -r

...just curious.

The same effect, yes.  But it also works on both x86 and Sparc versions
of Solaris.

1. /device entry lost

Hello folks,

I have a SS20 and Solaris 2.5.1 and foolowing problem:

The entry for the bbp0 under the /devices/... tree is lost. The link
/dev/bpp0 still exists, but
of course now points nowhere. Has anybody an idea how to recreate the
entry for the
bpp0 in the /devices directory?

thanks

Markus Sturm
