That happened to me... You can try to delete *lock files under:

/var/opt/SUNWconn/snm/db.root

Hello, All!

I have a question about subj. When i try to start snm, i get the
following messages:
# snm &
Feb 17 16:35:40 rakita NetISAM[434]: EFLOCK: lock owned by host 'rakita'
pid 417 user 0 inode 312
Error: cannot load font set '-b&h-lucida-medium-r-*-*-*-140-*-*-*-*-*-*'
Error: unable to open default font set

Error: Cannot open connection to window server: :0.0

Thanks, but it didn't help me. When i delete *lock files and start snm

1. new SunNet Manager - any better?

I have horrible timing.  I bought SunNet manager 2.2.3 just before
3.0 (or whatever the new version is) came out.  I must say that I
am VERY disapointed in this product.  The best info on working around
the problems I can find on sunsolve is "don't do that on key machines".
To me this defeats the purpouse of the product.  It looks like sun
is not going to do any bugfixes for this.  Is the new version any
better?
