I'm using a modem to call out from /dev/tty00 on my Solaris x86 2.4 system.
(So there's no getty (ttymon these days) tying up the port or anything)
After installing Driver update 9 the asy driver always sets DTR,
causing the modem to go into auto-answer mode.
The old driver correctly set DTR only when activating the port
(using kermit or uucico) and reset it after disconnecting.
I restored the old asy and the behavior went back to normal.
Is this a known bug in Driver update 9?
This is on an Intel Endeavour motherboard (which has 2 serial ports)
if that matters.
