HEllo,

Is there any command by which I can check that my box is on 64/32bit kernel?

/usr/bin/isainfo -kv

If that command doesn't exist, you're presumably on a version of Solaris
prior to Solaris 7, which will be 32-bit only.  Or you're not on Solaris
at all, in which case all bets are off (and you're in the wrong newsgroup).
Or the file got deleted somehow.

yourhostname#  isainfo -v
64-bit sparcv9 applications
32-bit sparc applications

the OP asked about the kernel, not applications.  you add the "-k"
isainfo option to display information about the kernel.
