1. SunOS 4.1.3_U1 and Solaris 2.4 on one disk?

Hi,

I got here an old Sun 4/110 running both, SunOS 4.1.3_U1 and Solaris 2.4.
SunOS is installed in the ShoeBox's internal disk and Solaris 2.4 is
installed on a separate 1Gb SCSI disk.

I got two old 150MB SCSI disks as well.

Now the SunOS boot disk (the one in the ShoeBox) crashed and I've
just disconnected its power to boot up the machine from the Solaris 2.4
disk. (The Showbox itself needs to stay powered up because it contains
the ESDI (or something) to SCSI bridge as far as I know).

Now I need to re-install SunOS from the backups or from the original
installation CD.

Questions:

1.) Is it possible to install both, SunOS 4.1.3_U1 and Solaris 2.4
    on the same disk. I want to install it on the 1GB SCSI disk
    by repartitioning the disk and putting SunOS into the new
    partitions.

2.) If 1.) ain't possible I will need to install SunOS on the other
    two 150MB SCSI disks.

    Provided that I got a complete backup of the old SunOS 4.1.3_U1
    installation: Can I just restore the installation (/ and /usr
    directories) to the disks under Solaris 2.4 without needing to
    reinstall from scratch?

    I guess I need to install the bootblock somehow and let it
    know the position of the kernel file.

    How can this be done and can this be done under Solaris 2.4
    for a SunOS system disk as well.
