Accelerating Sparc2 and Sparc10

I have a Sparc2 and a Sparc10-51 that I want to make faster rather
than replace... any suggested paths? Are the Weitek PoweruP's a good
choice for Sparc2's... I've also heard of a replacement board to take
2's to sparc5 level?

Good experiences? Bad experiences?

Weitek's POWERup seems to be a good choice (it's certainly cheap!).  You
get almost double SS2 performance.  There are boards out there that sit
in the SPARC 2 case, and have the functionality of a SS5, but the last time
I looked at them, they were quite expensive...

SS10 is easy: just plonk another SM51 in, and away you go!  You can use
faster processors, but you can't mix and match them: all processors must
be the same speed, so if you go for quad 150MHz Hypersparcs or whatever,
you'll have to trade in your SM51.

1. Unable to boot Sparc2.6 after installed Sparc2.7

Greeting, I have Sun Ultra 10 Sparc system. After install sparc 2.7
evalution copy on a new HD, my system is now having problem to boot
from the original HD with 2.6 Sparc Solaris. The error message is as
follow:

Can't read disk label
Can't open disk label package

cprbooter cpr boot
Can't read disk Label.
Can't open disk label package

Now I can only boot the HD with Solaris 2.7 OS, the HD with Solaris 2.6
is no longer bootable. Above message is the problem i am having.

My goal is to have two OSs, Sparc2.6 and Sparc2.7, running on my Ultra
Sparc 10 and swapping the HDs when I need to running from one of these
OSs.

I wonder if anyone has smiliar problem and how I could resolve this
problem.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.. Thx

Vincent Shyu
