Weitek's POWERup seems to be a good choice (it's certainly cheap!). You
get almost double SS2 performance. There are boards out there that sit
in the SPARC 2 case, and have the functionality of a SS5, but the last time
I looked at them, they were quite expensive...
SS10 is easy: just plonk another SM51 in, and away you go! You can use
faster processors, but you can't mix and match them: all processors must
be the same speed, so if you go for quad 150MHz Hypersparcs or whatever,
you'll have to trade in your SM51.
If it ain't analogue, it ain't music.
