Pre-IPO.
Support network and troubleshooting within a Network Operations
Center that operates on a 24X7 basis. Monitoring all elements of
Data Service's platform; configuration of applications of the
Data Services Head-end (add, erase, and change existing
applications) as well as application streams; monitoring of the
state of the hardware components that conform to the platform;
testing of broadcasted applications, provide system operations
support, including system maintenance, troubleshooting,
backup/restore procedures, switchover procedures during
equipment malfuntions; keep logs of broadcasted transactions;
follow SOPs for Data Services operations and assist Lead
Operator.
Ability to work non standard shifts (4:00 p.m 12:00 a.m. &
12:00 a.m. 8:00 a.m.) and weekend shifts. Must be able to
work in a pressure schedule-driven environment. AA degree in
Electronics/Computer Science desired but equivalent work
experience or military training will be considered. 2+ years of
network support experience in a Network Control Center
Environment. Ability to speak Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
