Anyone knows of a popdaemon that compiles on solaris 2.4?
I've tried qpopper 2.1.2, but I can't get it to compile.
Why bother to learn, when ignorance is instantaneous?
I've put my popper up for ftp at ftp.fwi.uva.nl:/pub/solaris/popper*.tar.gzQuote:>Anyone knows of a popdaemon that compiles on solaris 2.4?

It's a version based on 1.831 beta, which as enhancements:
- uses "Content-Length:" (if present) as a minmum message
- works w/ shadow passwords
- fixes a security problem with chown
- compiles in the native Solaris 2.x environment.
I would like to have Post Office Protocol running under my Sparc 20
running with Solaris 2.4. I have gcc version 2.6.3 and I would like to
use this to compile the source for POP which will run on this platform.
Does anyone have experience with this who could guide me on where to get
the source and any hints I may need to accomplish this goal?
