I can't login with xdm on a nisplus client until i first logged in
with telnet. The client and user has des and the user also local
credentials in the cred.org_dir map on the server.
When the client reboots xdm prints again the message "login incorrect"
till i login with telnet.

The general problem is that xdm does not the same as login does.
So for instance xdm knows nothing about password aging and nisplus
and therefore does not make a keylogin.
