Hi! There,
Does anybody know how to setup the proxy server (like for ftp, gopher,
http,nntp....)? Does it need different proxy server softwares for
different proxy service setup? where to get those proxy server software?

Question, what "proxy server" ? Do you mean getting a NCSA or CERN httpd
to act in such a way ? Please give us a little more to go on. We need to
know the operating system, software packages and platform you are going
to try to use.

I suggest you are a little more specific in your requirements next time,
