1. rtvc_capture_movie under Solaris 7

Hi,

when I try to run rtvc_capture_movie in the background (via cron, for a
webcam) under Solaris 7, I get the following error message and the
program hangs.

        signal fault in critical section

If I run it as a normal foreground process, it works fine. It also
worked under Solaris 2.6 WITHOUT recommended patches. After applying
these patches, I got the error messages above, too.

Is there anyone who has a solution for this ????
