Software on Sol2.x for Microtek scanner needed

We are running Sol2.x and have a scanner(Microtek MSF-300G).
I need a software to use the scanner on solaris machine. I
will appreciate any information about what software available.

1. Scanner Software for Microtek Scanmaker III

Anybody know of a scanner software package that will drive a Microtek
ScanmakerIII flatbed scanner connected to a Sparc 20 running SunOS 5.3? I'm
currently using EasyScan and I'm not happy with it.

I've tried contacting the company my organization bought the scanner and
software from and was told I wasn't using the software correctly. No luck
calling Microtek (gave up after 5 minutes on hold each time I called).

Thanks for anything anyone can suggest.
