According to http://www.sun.com/servers/entry/, the V250 only supports
Solaris 8 and 9. However, the V240 does as well and patch 116056-01
seems to have some relevance for the V240 and Solaris 7. Can Solaris 7
run on the V250?

No. As the patch says "This utility is *not* OS-dependent."
That said, it is a little silly to list Solaris 7 for a firmware patch
for a machine which doesn't support Solaris 7. I'll raise a bug to get
this fixed.
