This newserver of mine sucks, and I think it's back on track now.  Were
there any replies to this question that I missed?  Please help!  I shouldn't
have to pay $95 for an email tech support inquiry to fix a Solaris bug.

thanks,
brian

1. dhcpagent problem

I've got Solaris 8 x86 running on a dual-p3/933 with all patches installed.
I went to install dhcp on it yesterday and seemingly, everything went fine.
This morning I find that the /sbin/dhcpagent process is taking up 100% of 1
cpu.  I ran truss on it, and it's continuously looping between the following
three lines:

poll(0x080C43D8, 10, 0)                         = 0
sigprocmask(SIG_SETMASK, 0x08047E50, 0x00000000) = 0
sigprocmask(SIG_UNBLOCK, 0x080C3D5C, 0x08047E50) = 0

There is some variation (i.e. an occasional difference), but for the most
part these three lines zip past the screen as fast as the video will allow.
I'm not familiar with the process to submit a bug report (if possible), so
any comments or ideas would be appreciated.  BTW, I'm using winroute pro as
my dhcp server, with a lease specified for this hardware address.

thanks,
brian
