Hi,
I am receiving this message on the console of an Ultra 1 which is used
as a web server with Solaris 2.6. Anyone know what it means?
Apr 26 10:36:05 superman snmpdx: error while receiving a pdu from
n-ina41.scrm3524.PacBell.COM.2245: The message has a wrong version (1)
Apr 26 10:36:11 superman last message repeated 3 times

This just means that someone is querying snmpdx with SNMPv2 (not a
standard) when the SEA agent only speaks SNMPv1. Its fairly harmless.

If I start tcp on SCO Open Server 5.0.0d (Networking Suppl 1.0) and
look into /var/adm/syslog I find the error message
... snmpd: send_trap: No more interfaces: No such file or directory
I have no static network installed, I want to call the internet over
an dynamic outgoing ppp-link.

I want to configure my host as primary nameserver for dymnamic
incoming links.
If I call nslookup, it return with a timeout error/Can't find server
name for adress ... : No response from server ...
A ping for localhost and my hostname works sucessfully,
