Hi,

I want to know 1block size in bytes with Solaris8.
And is there any command to verify this?

Thanks!

Annie

1. EXT2: Defualt block-size & super-block pos.

I'm trying to recover my hard-disk, and puzzling with some serious
HEX-hacking, i found the ext2-node-descriptions in the kernel, but now
I'm stuck with some non-understandable hex-sequences.

What is the default block size for the ext2-filesystem?
Where is the default superblock-backup-positions?

Anyone got some good ideas, assuming my primary superblock is 4KB of
zeros, to recover my HD?

Any help appreciated!!
