decide on which Sun model to buy for the DR site

I have to pick one of the following for our Disaster Recovery Site. Our DR
site is to run the Peoplesoft payroll applications in case of a disaster.
Following are the three options available - costs are almost similar. Do any
of you have any experience in deciding which option provides the best bang
for the buck?

a) Sun D240 Media Tray (rackmount model), contains 2x73-GB disks, DVD & DDS4
tape) = $7,495 + $100 cable

b) Sun Multipack, supports up to SIX 36-GB disk, priced with Four 36-GB
disks = $6,900 + $575 for HBA interface (PCI) & cable & $178 for a rack
shelf
c) used Sun D1000 array (holds up to TWELVE 36-GB or 73-GB disks) = priced
with Four 36-GB disks = $4,500 + $1295 for PCI Host Adapter ($1440 for Dual
HBA)

Not a bad choice, if it has sufficient capacity (I suspect not).

Not a good choice in a datacenter environemnt, IMHO, because
they're not rack mounted (the shelf just wastes space).

A good choice (I have one here), but get a better price quote.
$4.5K seems a little steep, unless the disks are new and Sun
branded.  I paid about $400 for my used D1000, and it was full
of 9 GB 10K RPM, Sun branded disks.
