Have you cheked that the Adaptec 2230SLP is on the Hardware Compatibility
List?

Also checked the Device Configuration Assistant and no
Adaptec device shows up on the list. I'm I missing
something here?
I was able to create a Raid drive with on the board bios.
On boot up the RAID controller reports that the RAID
drive is ready.

Hoping to use Sol10 instead of Red Hat since I'm
