Very Computer

I am having trouble setting my Soalris box to connect with my Access
Provider.  I have a static IP address with my provider.  The UUCP script
works fine to get it connect but for some reason the protocol cannot be
resolved between the two systems.  Here is the output from
/var/adm/log/asppp.log:

Does anyone know waht the problem could be?  My provider has informed
that the VJ compression should be on, but is unsure about the
lcp_compression.  I have tried both ways with no luck.
