Anyone know if there will be a port of Framemaker to the Solaris X86 platform?

They told us the same. We are interrested because we both have sparcs
and PC running solaris. Since we have no need for MS-Windows, we don't
want Frame on top of MS-Windows.

It is may be too early since 2.4 is not yet widespread, but we may ask
people on the net if they are (seriously) interrested in a solaris PC
port of Frame and send the results to them. After all, if they have the
(2.4) sparc version, they only have to type 'make' to get a x86 version.
Isn't it ? This is not too much to ask and it will bring them money.
Don't they understand that ?

I asked them this question about a year ago and there were no plans.
They seemed to want some customer pull first. I suggest everyone fire
