Has anyone found a way to authenticate to an Rsa SecurID server from a unix
workstation?

I tried PPPD some time back but could not get it work.

I've used pam for that with success. I ported the pam_solaris module
for redhat linux over to Solaris a few months back. This is just
one of several that are out there:

    yes... it is actually very simple... there is a sun client on the
install cd which
    you need to install on your sun box...

    then you need to copy the configuration (it spits it our for you...
simple file
    copy works) into the config directory...

    then, simply point the users login shell to the sdclient (? memory) and
now your
    authentication against RSA securid. pretty painless...

    forgive the vagueness above, i don't fully remember the directory
pathnames...
