by I'm trying to figure out why several of my Suns have consoles that are completely blank, and others give a "The X-server cannot be started on display <hostname>:0"
Most systems are Solaris 2.5.1 with Recommended patch cluster from around last October. One system is 2.6 with Recommended cluster from about a month ago.
I'm a bit skeptical that this is a Solaris issue, and am starting to lean toward it being something done by running nedit as root.
If anybody out there has seen this sort of problem, please drop me a line.
