In a script, I want to open a x-term window for 8 different machines. I
want all off them to open as super user. But I want to give the su
password only once ( all machines have the same su password ).
Can anybody help me.

You could wrap this into a little Expect script pretty easily.
Hi there.
We're having a problem getting scologin to work on a set of HDS X
terminals that we just purchased. We'll follow up with Tech Support on
Monday, but thought we'd see if anybody had ideas.
The situation is as follows:
We CAN get X clients to run on the terminals.
We have turned XDMCP off after things didn't work, to simplify
Apparently, the scologin is getting hung up when it tries to do the
xrdb -load -d <xterminalname> <scologinresources>
When we kill the xrdb, we get a strange, blue, motif-looking dialog box,
but
without all the cool graphics -- it doesn't quite allow us to login
either.
Typing xrdb -all -query -d <terminalname> either hangs up or gives
nothing.
Typing xrdb -all -query -d :0 gives all of the correct resources
Typing xrdb -load -d :0 <scologinresourcefile> works fine
Typing xrdb -load -d <terminalname> <scologinresourcefile> hangs
From what we can tell, this is HDS's problem, in that their server
software hangs when a client attempts to do xrdb. Has anybody else run
into this? What to do?
Help! Any and all help is certainly appreciated.
