Hello all,
My friend is working on a real-time control project. It involves a
number of multi-port intelligent serial IO cards (haven't choose a
brand yet), some telephone cards for dialing out via some DTMF phone
lines, and some voice synthesizing cards. On top of all driving all
these hardware, IPC (interprocess communication) is an important part.
Right now, there are a number of available platforms, and he simply
doesn't know which one to choose. The possible choice are: Windows NT
4, QNX, and Solaris. He knows a bit about QNX and Solaris, but, pretty
well, doesn't know NT at all. Any suggestions/comments/advise/warning?
Please give him a hand.
Since I don't read this newsgroup regularly, please reply me by email.
Thanx in advance!
