SUMMARY: GCC binaries for Solaris 2.1 x86

A little while back I asked about GCC binaries for x86 Solaris.
The only responses I got were other people looking for the same
thing.  In the meantime, I've managed to get GCC 2.4.5 compiled,
so I now have working GCC binaries.  Now since there were a
number of people interested in these, is anyone willing to
make them available via FTP?  I can FTP them out but I can't place
them on anonymous FTP here.  Any takers?

I think, that i sent one followup, where i mentioned, that there is
gcc 2.4.5 binaries in nic.funet.fi /pub/unix/386ix/Solaris.x86 .

If someone has any other binary/source stuff, they are well come
to nic.funet.fi, that is one of largest ftp arhcive sites in europe
and has alse fast ip connection to all rest of the world.

1. SUMMARY: gcc binaries for Solaris/X86?

I built a new version of gzip on SunOS 4.1.3/Sparc, re-ftp'ed the
x86 binaries, and all is well.  Either I did something stupid, or the
gzip for x86 I ftp'ed from nic.funet.fi was buggy, or it was damaged in
transit.

Thanks to those of you who provided advice.

I ftp'ed a gzip binary for solarix/x86 from nic.funet.fi, which seems to work.

I ftp'ed gcc binaries from :

thor.ece.uc.edu
ftp.warwick.ac.uk

but each of them gives tar directory checksum errors.  Yes I ftp'ed in
binary mode!

Can someone point me to a clean gcc for solarix/86 ????
