by O.K. I have set up my system as a DNS client, my hostname is now up
and running, but I am having problems with sending and receiving
E-Mail.
When I send E-Mail out of my system at "fantoma.usfca.edu" to
someplace like "dons.ac.usfca.edu", the from-field of the E-Mail reads
sendmail.cf file, but its structure is a bit archaic and nothing I did
fixed the problem. Can anyone help me with this?
Also, I cannot receive E-Mail at all on my system. In-house mail
vanishes after I send it. I get no errors, but the letter never gets
received or returned. When I send mail to my machine from another, it
gets bounced back saying that the user was not found. But the user is
on the system. Can anyone help me with this, too?
