Changes in /etc/system need a reboot to take effect, however depending on what
you're trying to change, ndd and adb will let you change (temporarily) on the
NT tries to do almost everything UNIX does, but fails - miserably.
The use of Windoze cripples the mind; its use should, therefore, be
