Landscape Printing with lp/jetadmin

Landscape Printing with lp/jetadmin

Post by George Ree » Fri, 13 Jan 1995 01:27:26

How can I configure an HP printer using jetadmin for landscape
printing under Solaris 3.2?  I have not been able to find anything in
the documentation.  In addition, I am equally at a loss as to how to
define an alias for a printer.

1. printing landscape using lp

Is there a way to easily print "landscape" using a simple lp command.
The print queue I would like to print to is a Solaris lpd print queue
sending to an NT print spooler and ultimately ending up printing to an
HP LaserJet 5SI.

I have been able to do this with a combination of postprint and lp, but,
it seems a bit much to me.

Any help would be appreciated.
