Dave:
Sorry but the above assessment has nothing to do DSP. All that the Answerbook is telling you
is that you can't find that particular answerbook. I believe the one you are referencing is
the Solaris 2.4 User AB. By the way, which "book" (for which product) do you seek?
There is a file in your home directory (.ab_cardcatalog) that points to all respective
answerbooks. Respond to the dialog with error & you should see a list of answerbooks in the
lower window. If you don't click on the Mod Library button. That should give a list of
answerbooks to select from. You have to check off certain ones that you wish to see. Select
them & press apply. That should fill the lower window with the ones you selected. From
there, double click or search to get to specific pages in the ab. If you still don't see any
answerbooks, then go to /opt directory. Execute the following command:
find . -name 'ab_cardcatalog' -print
each hit is a file that contains the appropriate entry for the .ab_cardcatalog file. So if you
go back to your home directory & rename (for safety) the .ab_cardcatalog .ab_library files,
then rerun answerbook, it will regenerate those files for you. If you still get errors, there
is something wrong with the answerbooks. If you don't see anything, it means there are no
local answerbooks installed on that system.
Good Luck
