Miro Crystal 10sd how to make it work in Solaris x86

Post by Konstantinos Agour » Sun, 29 Oct 1995 04:00:00

Hi,

I just got Solaris 2.4 x86 with DU8 to work. After I installed Video DU8
I tried to configure my Miro-Card but had no luck. I tried both entries for
the 20sd with 1 MB Ram. After I started openwin, nothing happened the machine
stood.
Any suggestions?

Konstantin

Which chips has that card got? The HCL lists the 10SD with the 864 chip. It
might have been replaced with an 868 in the meantime. You can try to substitute
some other card with the same chip(s) your 10SD has. Try grepping through
/usr/openwin/share/etc/devdata/SUNWaccel/boards/*/*. You can also try to
roll your own config. I'm trying to make one for my SPEA/V7 Mercury, but so
far without success.

You can also try to use a generic S3 configuration for the same chip
your 10SD has. This is what I'm currently using for the Mercury.
