Spec 1170 ???

Spec 1170 ???

Post by Jay Urba » Thu, 06 Oct 1994 03:23:30

Can anyone explain spec 1170 to me?  I believe
it specified what X/Open considered to be
a valid Unix operating system.

How does it relate to Sys. V, Solaris, HP UX, etc.

How do you get a copy of the spec?

Thanks,

1. SPEC-1170 available via ftp?

Is a description of the API defined by spec-1170 available anywhere on
the net at all? If not where can I get a copy?

TIA...
