We are currently using NeWSprint 2.5b on a SPARC10 running Solaris
to provide PostScript printing using an old HP LaserJet IIP. Printing
is working well, with the following exception:
After a job requiring PostScript conversion is submitted, the job cannot
clear itself and remains in the queue while the CPU spikes. The print
job can be removed from the queue manually (command line, Print Tool, or
NeWSPrint Tool).
If multiple jobs are submitted, the first prints and remains active in the
queue while the others wait.
The one exception is jobs which don't require PostScript Conversion. These
print jobs have no problem cleaning up after themselfs.
Any help/advice would be greatly appriciated.
