Two suggestions:
1) Stop* around with macheads. There is really no excuse for people
who give others something without wondering/caring whether the recipient can
use it.
2) Get Liken or MAE.
There are some binhex utils for DOS, even for UNIX out there, but some of
them do not overcome the Mac lossage of having that stupid forked file
nonsense.
I just tell people to give it to me in a format that I can use, but you may
not have that luxury.
