Did anybody have a Gigabit Lx tranceiver and Sun Server or workstation on a
Vlan(here is on 2 vlan) on a HP Procurve 2524 and have 0% of packet loss ???
Here is my configuration :
Solaris 8 on a ultra-30
2 NIC
local-mac-address = true
Vlan 1 for a subnet 192.x.x.x = hme1 for Sunray
Vlan 2 for a other subnet 168.x.x.x = hme0
Trunk with the LX tranceiver port to the router (cisco)
RSTP enable with :

Protocol Version : RSTP
STP Enabled [No] : Yes
Force Version [RSTP-operation] : RSTP-operation
Switch Priority [8] : 8 Hello Time [2] : 2

I have some lost packet with the server on the vlan 2. But i don't loss any
packet with a Mac or Windows Stations....any idea, hints ???
The switch did not recognize the mac adress on the port(5) with the Ultra-30
on it ( hme0 ) i think that is the problem....any idea, hints for this too
???
