I have a Solaris 1.1 machine sending a 1.5 mb file to a Solaris 2.4
machine via UUCP over TCP several times a day.
About once a day the in.uucpd on the 2.4 machine goes hay wire and starts
chewing up CPU cycles like mad and has to be killed.
Killing the in.uucpd on the 2.4 machine and letting the transfer start
again usually ends in successful completion.
Anyone else having similiar problems with UUCP over TCP?

a communication medium with revolutionary intellectual
potential being used mostly as a global graffiti board.
