Hi,

Can someone tell me how to get my SBLive sound card to work in Solaris8. I
currently have no sound and any would be nice :->

You can't yet. There are no drivers available from Sun, and don't hold your
breath waiting for them. 4front technologies has drivers for some Unixes,
but not for Solaris. Tech support says drivers for Solaris will be ready
soon, maybe by mid-May. Go to www.opensound.com

Do you think it would be worth the effort to try to much around with the
LINUX versions?

No I don't. I am not a driver expert, but I think the OS architectures
are too dissimmilar t make it an easy task.

Unfortunately, not yet. Tech support says that the Solaris-X86 drivers
will be released soon, possibly by mid-May.
